拓展：It took \was long before …. 过了多久才…..
It won’t be long before… 不久就…..
It will be long before … 要过多久才…..

Eg. It will be two years before he comes back.
2) 修饰可数名词：a great\good many, a number of, many,
many a=more than one(单n.+单v.)
修饰不可数名词：much, a great deal of, a large amount of(单v.),
large amounts of (复v.)
修饰可数不可数名词：a lot of, lots of, plenty of, quantities of (只用复v.)
Eg. Many a doll is on sale.
