单元概况 〖The main content〗
In this unit, students must learn to ask and answer questions about ownership. In the text, students will meet a lot of words about sports and they are required to ask and answer if they have such sports t hings or not. At the same, they may learn to make suggestions with Let’s …. During the teaching course, the teacher and students should communicate with each other. And the teacher can help students choose a kind of sports white is suitable for him/her.
单元教学目标 〖Teaching aims〗
Learn the usage of the verb have at Present Tent and learn to ask and answer about the owning of objects with the verb have. Learn to use Yes/No questions led by do or does. Learn to use the description adjectives. Learn to the sentence pattern of Let’s …. to make sugges tions. Learn and consolidate the usage of plural nouns, and talk about the ball games which you like or dislike and the reasons. Learn to wr ite with the knowledge that we have learnt (the Present Tense of acting verbs in affirmatives, negatives and Yes/No questions).

The content of this unit is close to the students’ life and the topic deals with the ball games that students lik e or dislike and the reasons, and it relate to the students’ mentality of living sports, so it can arouse the students’ special attention and inspire them to fall interest in learning English. At the same time it can bring up students’ feelings and sprits of getting on will with classmates, helping each other and being united friendly.
