(1)sure用作副词时，意为“的确”“一定”。例：—Can I see your new watch?我可以看一下你的新手表吗？—Sure. 当然可以。He sure is very tall. 他的确个子很高。You must be sure of yourself. 你要对自己充满信心。(2)sure用作形容词时，意为“确信的”“肯定的”。例：Are you sure?你能肯定吗？How can you be sure?你怎么能肯定呢？I'm sure you're right. 我确信你是对的。2．look, see, watch和readlook, see, watch, read都有“看”的意思，但它们“看”的方法不一样。look强调“看”的动作，是不及物动词，接宾语时要加上介词at。例：Look!What's this?看！这是什么？Look at the picture, please. 请看这幅图。see强调“看”的结果，是及物动词，可以直接接宾语。另外，也有“看一看”的意思。例：Can I see your bag?我能看一看你的书包吗？What can you see in the picture?你在图画上能看见什么？I look at the blackboard carefully, but I can't see it clearly. 我仔细地看黑板，但是我看不清楚。watch意为“观看”“注视”，指观看某一活动的场面。“看电视/看比赛”都可以用watch。例：He often watches TV in the evening. 晚上他经常看电视。.........
